The Lodge is in the direct vicinity of a farm where sheep breeding is the main concern. It goes without saying that the welfare of all animals is of the utmost importance.

Please keep dogs in the designated areas under a watchful eye, in the enclosed dog exercise field or on a lead. Depending on season there could be ewes with young lambs grazing in the main fields. We accept no liability for damage to yourself, your dogs, or your belongings.

Any reported injuries to sheep will incur charges that you are responsible for.

Water Supply
A private water supply feeds the cabin. Smiddyhill has its own UV System fitted. The quality of the water has been tested and is safe to drink.
